Laurianne obtained her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2011. She also completed her doctorate (PhD) studies in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Ottawa. She developed a new behavioural approach considering patient characteristics in order to promote physical activity among people with osteoarthritis. Her clinical research and private practice interests focus on geriatric rehabilitation (chronic diseases, arthritis) and self-management of pain.

Josée has been practicing physiotherapy in private clinics with an orthopedic clientele since 2011. She pursued her university studies in health sciences with an option in gerontology and received her master's degree in physiotherapy in 2011, at the University of Ottawa. She completed several continuing education courses in orthopedics (prescription of exercises, manual therapy and McKenzie approach), pediatrics (torticollis and plagiocephaly) and neuropediatrics. Her interests are orthopedic injuries (general and sports), neurological damage, vestibular rehabilitation and pediatric rehabilitation.

Geneviève Cadieux

Geneviève completed her master's degree in physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa in 2019. She also holds a Bachelor in Human Kinetics since 2017. She has been passionate about the human body and the field of rehabilitation since a young age. She practiced gymnastics competitively for 12 years and coached for 7 years. Since retiring as a gymnast, her new passion is rock climbing. Her interests in private practice are general orthopedics and sports rehabilitation.

Alexandra da costa

Alexandra completed her master's degree in physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa in 2020. She also holds a Bachelor in Human Kinetics since 2017. Alexandra has a working philosophy based on a global approach to focusing on her clients, by listening carefully to their concerns and developing personalized treatment plans to meet the desired needs. Her objectives are to help each of her clients regaining function, overcoming physical obstacles, and therefore engaging for a better quality of life. She practices running, cross-country skiing, soccer and gym workout. Her interests in private practice are orthopedics, Parkinson Rehabilitation - LSVT BIG Certification, and geriatrics - falls prevention.

MARIE GAGNEUR

MSC, PHT

Originally from France, Marie completed her integrated Bachelor’s-Master’s degree at the University of Sherbrooke in 2018. She has a passion for sports, particularly yoga and running. This passion has allowed her to develop a great interest in health over the years. Since 2018, Marie has completed various training in the musculoskeletal system (dry needling, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation and chronic pain). Her interests in private practice are orthopedics (general and sports), vestibular rehabilitation and pain management.

Gabrielle Demers

Gabrielle completed her master's degree in physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa in 2022. She also holds a Bachelor in Human Kinetics since 2020. Gabrielle follows a personalized approach adapted to each client’s needs in order to properly equip her clients. Integrating manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, education and several other treatment modalities, she works hand in hand with her clients towards achieving their goals and improving their quality of life. She practices basketball, running, swimming, cycling and many outdoor activities. Her interests in private practice are McKenzie approach (level A, B and C), prevention and treatment for running-related injuries, orthopedic injuries and management of sports injuries.

Joanie Loiseau

Occupational therapist

Joanie graduated from the University of Ottawa with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Activity (2009) and Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (2011). She has been working at Montfort Hospital since the very beginning of her career with the geriatric population. She joined our team in January 2018 where she is passionate about the pediatric clientele. Joanie wishes to help your child with his daily challenges and development while having fun.

ARIANE ROMAIN

Physical rehabilitation therapist

Ariane completed her studies at Collège Montmorency in Laval. Passionate about health since the age of 4, her interests in private practice are post-operative rehabilitation, geriatrics and sports injuries. She is always ready to listen and support you in your rehabilitation progress so that you can resume your activities and your rhythm of life!

Laurie Boilard

Kinésiologist

Laurie completed her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in 2019. She has a passion for physical activity since a young age and can now pursue this passion through her career. She also obtained her yoga teaching certification in Indonesia. Laurie actively listens to her patients’ needs and uses a personalized approach to help her patients reach their goals, whether it is for prevention, rehabilitation, or performance. Having practiced many individual sports, she specializes in running, swimming, cycling, gymnastics and many other sports.

Jennifer has been working with us since 2020. Originally from Abitibi, she has a great passion for customer service. She is responsible for a wide range of finance-related and administrative tasks. She would like to make your visits with us as pleasant as possible!

Christeen Ammari

Project coordinator

Christeen is a Health Sciences student at the University of Ottawa since 2018 and has been working with us since 2019. She is responsible for clinic projects related to research and marketing, as well as administrative tasks.
